Truck Radiators

In the past, diesel truck and over-the-road tractor radiators had to be repaired or re-cored if they were leaking. We still perform this service, when necessary. However, most of the trucks being made today come with radiators that have plastic end tanks instead of the steel, "bolt-on" tanks. The plastic tank truck radiator is gaining popularity so we stock all of these popular replacement units. We also build them with aluminum cores brazed to aluminum end tanks, for added durability.

Charge Air Coolers

Erie Radiator sells charge air coolers for diesel trucks. A charge air cooler is a heat transfer device that cools intake air before induction. Charge air coolers are used primarily on applications with turbocharged diesel engines. A leaking charge air cooler will dramatically increase the cost of running a truck. Leaking charge air coolers can create decreased horsepower, increased emissions, decreased fuel mileage and a shortened engine life. We stock over 200 charge air coolers and can repair or recore hard to find coolers.
